EDIT FILE NAMES IN MAKEFILES
Syntax:
EDIT FILE NAMES IN MAKEFILES [:] REPLACE <string> BY <string> EDIT FILENAMES IN MAKEFILES [:] REPLACE <string> BY <string> EDIT FILE NAMES IN MAKEFILES [:] USE RELATIVE PATHS EDIT FILENAMES IN MAKEFILES [:] USE RELATIVE PATHS DO NOT EDIT FILE NAMES IN MAKEFILES DO NOT EDIT FILENAMES IN MAKEFILES
Function:
Edits the file names in makefiles. The names changed are those in the Makefile body. File names in the file headers are not changed.
This command is useful in modifying the Makefilea to be run from different directories.
When "USE RELATIVE PATHS" is specified the paths are constructed relative to the current working directory. Parallel paths, constructed, for example, as ../../string_library/f90/ descend to a depth specified by the command RELATIVE PATH DEPTH. If the directories are separated by a greater depth the entire path of the parallel directory is written.
Note that file names may be edited in several contexts. Please see the commands:
