EDIT FILE NAMES IN REPORTS

Syntax:

EDIT FILE NAMES IN REPORTS [:] REPLACE <string> BY <string> EDIT FILENAMES IN REPORTS [:] REPLACE <string> BY <string> EDIT REPORTED FILE NAMES [:] REPLACE <string> BY <string> EDIT REPORTED FILENAMES [:] REPLACE <string> BY <string>

Function:

Edits the file names in reports. The names changed are those in diagnostics, in reports such as SHOW FILES and in the SHOW CURSOR, FIND and SEARCH commands.

File names in the .fsp file headers are not changed.

This command is useful in comparing list (.fpl) files from different machines and operating systems.

Note that file names may be edited in several contexts. Please see the commands:

Default

Reported file names are not edited by default.
